Services Provided Surrogate Fund Management, LLC offers assistance to Intended Parents, Clinics, Physicians, and Ovum, Sperm and Embryo Donation Agencies. We can provide:
A Gestational Carrier Contract is an agreement between intended parents and a gestational carrier and their husband/partner, if any. These contracts are often compensated and are intended to detail the parties' rights, obligations, intentions and expectations in connection with their arrangement – financial and otherwise. SFM carefully examines the Gestational Carrier Contract and disburses monies to the gestational carrier as well as to any third parties entitled to funds under the Contract. SFM helps you avoid awkward situations with your carrier. Based on the requirements and provisions of the Gestational Carrier Contract, SFM collects and scrutinizes receipts submitted by the gestational carrier prior to making reimbursements. SFM will gather all supporting documentation needed to reimburse lost wages and other requests. SFM consults intended parents prior to reimbursing substantial expenses submitted. In addition, on a monthly basis, SFM provides a detailed account statement to intended parents so that they remain aware of disbursements being made from their account. In this way, SFM removes the financial aspect of a gestational carrier arrangement from the shoulders of intended parents and provides assurance to the clients that their money is secure. 2) Ovum Donation Agreement Escrow Management An Ovum Donation Agreement is a contract between a donor, her partner/husband, if any, and the recipients of the donated ovum. This Agreement details the rights, obligations and expectations of the parties – financial and otherwise. SFM carefully examines the Ovum Donation Agreement and disperses monies to the donor as well as to third parties entitled to payments under the Agreement. Since these agreements are often anonymous, SFM helps all our clients maintain the confidentiality that is so important to them. Based on the requirements and provisions of the Ovum Donation Agreement, SFM collects and scrutinizes receipts submitted by the donor prior to making reimbursements. SFM will gather all supporting documentation needed to reimburse lost wages and other requests. Finally, on a monthly basis, SFM provides a detailed account statement to recipients so that they remain aware of disbursements being made from their account. In this way, SFM removes this financial aspect of an ovum donation arrangement from the shoulders of recipients while maintaining their anonymity and providing assurance to them that their money is safe. 3) Financial Services for Physicians and Clinics for Gestational Carrier and Ovum Donation Procedures Physicians and clinics performing medical procedures in connection with gestational carriers and ovum donations stand to benefit from SFM's services. SFM simplifies the financial practices of physicians and clinics by removing much of the bureaucracy. SFM processes expenses and prints and mails out checks without the delays that many hospitals face and, unlike many hospitals and physicians, is fully insured against losses. For this reason, physicians and clinics are assured that payments will be made in a timely manner. Each month clients receive account statements detailing their account balance and all recent account activity. SFM is happy to take this responsibility off the shoulders of physicians and clinics and allow them to focus exclusively on the health and welfare of their patients. 4) Financial Services for Surrogacy/Gestational Carrier and Donor Agencies Agencies use SFM's services for gestational carrier, ovum sperm and embryo donation arrangements, allowing the agency to focus on its primary responsibilities-- creating appropriate matches and managing the screening processes. SFM processes expenses and prints and mails checks without the delays that many agencies face, and unlike many agencies, is fully insured against loss. For this reason, agencies are assured that payments will be made in a timely manner. Each month, the client and the agency receive account statements detailing each client’s account balance and all recent account activity. SFM is happy to take this responsibility off the shoulders of agencies and allow each agency to focus exclusively on the needs of their clients.
